Summary: A time traveler from 2043 seeks to avert the damage done by rampant industrial society by sabotaging the construction of the first all-iron bridge, thereby rendering a psychological blow to the movement later called the Industrial Revolution.
Comments: Allohistorical content is minimal, with only small changes to history occurring in the text. However, there are indications in the final chapter that major changes to the anti-slavery movement will result.
