Price, Alfred. "The Jet Fighter Menace"
Divergence: 1943 CE
What if: An adjustment to military production priorities led to the addition of jet fighters to the German arsenal in late 1943.
Summary: The American air is forced to restrict its daylight bombing of Germany, and in 1944, the Luftwaffe is able to attack the Normandy beachhead. However, the Americans respond with new tactics, overwhelming numbers and the introduction of B-29s in Europe, such that the Allies still defeat Germany in June 1945.
